Bring radiation protection and reach Reactor 01
Select Operation Fallen Ember from Story Missions. Call of Duty’s Hajin field guide identifies the reactor grounds as a high-radiation area. The briefing documented by All Things How recommends a 3-Plate Armor Vest, Med Kit, Gas Mask and Radiation Blockers. Check your supplies before crossing into the compound.
The All Things How walkthrough reaches the Reactor 01 override from the damaged dome roof. Follow the marked approach, reach the override, and activate it before trying the reactor doors.
Recover three rods and decontaminate them
Inside Reactor 01, use the marked console to release a fuel rod, then enter the flooded pool to retrieve it. Follow the objective back to the controls for the next rod. All Things How documents three release-and-retrieval cycles before the tracker directs you to Reactor 02.
At Reactor 02, process all three rods at the decontamination station. Suggested squad approach: let one player manage the objective interactions while teammates watch the approaches and check their own radiation protection.
Secure the warhead and take the patrol boat
The documented route next goes through the reactor yard to secure the warhead and fight reinforcements. Commander Colossus drops the Boathouse Key in the reported run. Use it to enter the boathouse, open the shutter, and take the patrol boat out to meet the helicopter.
Follow the helicopter until the escort registers as complete. Then check the Tac-Map for an active extraction and allow enough time to reach it. The mission completion and your squad’s extraction are separate.
