Which level should you check?
Check Career → Progression → DMZ Level Unlocks for the 1–70 player track. You can also open DMZ Progression from the FOB. This track unlocks stations, recipes, upgrade projects, and gear for future deployments.
The overall 1–55 player track also receives XP from DMZ, while XP earned in Multiplayer or Warzone applies outside the DMZ track. Each Active Duty Operator has a separate Dog Tag level. Onyx III marks 18 earned Trait Points for that Operator, with separate requirements for Operator Prestige.
Early unlocks: workstations, recipes, and storage
Use these milestones to decide what to unlock first. A station unlock gives access to its menu. A recipe lets you make an item with the required materials. For a craftable FOB upgrade, check the Upgrades tab for its material requirements and how many prints it takes to finish.
The Boss Board follows your Orders instead of this level schedule. Complete your second DMZ Order to open it.
| Level | Milestone | What to do with it |
|---|---|---|
| 2 | 3D Printer and starter recipes | Print items such as bandages, a Med Kit, or a 2-plate vest with the listed materials. |
| 5 | Vendor | Use DMZ Cash to buy available supplies. Stock can rotate. |
| 10 | Gunsmith | Modify eligible weapons or buy a base weapon after extracting its Weapon Manual. |
| 14 | Armor Box recipe | Craft an Armor Box if you want extra plates on a deployment. |
| 15 | Additional Operator slot upgrade | Open the upgrade for one more Active Duty slot. |
| 20 | Dog Tag Case | Store recovered enemy Operator Dog Tags. |
| 22 | Item Stash expansion | Complete the upgrade to add 18 item slots. |
Later unlocks: armor, self-revive, and the level 70 kit
Infinity Ward fixed a level 37 vest delivery issue during the launch updates. Its October 29 note said players who had already passed level 37 were still awaiting the missed reward at the time. Check your stash and the latest patch notes if the vest is missing.
Open earned Survival Kits at the FOB Survival Kits station to move their contents into your stash. Keep the kit sealed there until you need the supplies or have room for them.
| Level | Milestone | What to do with it |
|---|---|---|
| 35 and 60 | Weapon Stash expansions | Each completed upgrade adds six weapon slots. |
| 37 | 3-Plate Armor Vest | This level awards the vest itself. |
| 48 | Self-Revive Kit recipe | Use the recipe and materials to print a kit. |
| 50 | Bounty payout upgrade | The upgrade raises claimed payouts by 50%. |
| 70 | Advanced SERE Kit | Unpack it for rescue beacons, weapon insurance contracts, self-revives, and medical supplies. |
| 70 | Item Stash and bounty upgrades | Separate upgrades add 18 item slots and increase claimed bounty payouts by 100%, respectively. |
How to earn DMZ XP in Hajin
Story Missions, Dynamic Operations, and Side Ops all award DMZ XP. For a short solo run, pick a nearby Side Op with a reasonable exit route. For a squad run, agree on one mission or Dynamic Op before deploying. Pick an exfil when you arrive and check that it is still viable after completing the objective.
XP earned for the 1–70 DMZ player track counts even if you fail to exfil. Successful exfil also gives you the chance to bring equipment and printer ingredients back to the FOB. Check the progression screen after the run to see which milestone is next.
