Hajin boss encounters

Hajin Commanders Guide: Tank, Colossus and Deathstalker

Recognize the three launch Commanders in MW4 DMZ, find them on the Tac-Map, and plan how to extract with crafting ingredients.

How do you find a Commander in Hajin?

Watch for a Team Leader warning and check the Tac-Map. A Commander is marked when your squad comes close. Commanders roam across Hajin, so make your route decisions from the live marker. The FOB Boss Board has general information on Commanders. Paid tracking intel is available for Lieutenants.

Identify the three launch Commanders

Check what is moving and where you can leave the fight before engaging. The same Tac-Map proximity rules apply to all three.

  • Tank: A North Korean main battle tank that patrols Hajin. Keep a route out of its line of fire and decide whether the fight fits your current objective and time limit.
  • Colossus: A heavily armored soldier carrying a minigun. Call of Duty’s launch patch notes record reduced Drill Charge damage against Colossus. Check your cover and equipment before committing.
  • Deathstalker: A helicopter-sized autonomous drone with two machine-gun turrets. A captured SAM Site engages hostile aircraft and can help against it. Use the control computer, defend it until the capture completes, and check the map before moving away.

How do Commander rewards work?

The official FOB guide lists a DMZ Cash reward for your first takedown of a given Commander and valuable 3D Printer ingredients for defeating a Commander and extracting. Plan an active exfil and leave backpack space before the fight.

Season 1 announced separate Threat Briefings for the Battle Tank in Hajin and The Captain in X01. Those objectives involve extracting event parts. Check the season briefing for the announced rules and your in-game event panel for the live requirements.
